TRIP TO EL SALVADOR THROUGH COMTEX!
We spent a wonderful week at Royal Decameron Salinitas Hotel of San Salvador. The sun was shining from 6.30 am to 5.30 pm, every day! We had a cloudy break for 2 hours only on Monday.
Flight time is 5 hours and transfer to the hotel takes almost 2 hours (the only negative item of the whole trip)!
The room was spic and span, all comfort with a terrasse with a view on the beach and the Pacific Ocean, as all the other rooms on the site. No fridge, no facial tissues nor alarm clock but we could do without very easily for a week!
As promised, the food is excellent everywhere (a la carte restaurants and buffets) despite the fact there is not much variety. This is a lack but what is served though is excellent!
The staff is very polite, client-oriented: they know what they are doing despite most of them are in their young twenties. Tipping is very much appreciated, especially at the bar!
Security officers were seen all over the site (day and night). A very safe place for vacations. All the water served is purified ans is available at will like any other drink ,with or without alcohol.
Considering all this, we would sure return to this resort again!
